Well, Roxy gave birth yesterday to 4 puppies! They are all very sweet, but very small, so i'm praying the will be ok. (one is only 1.5oz the rest are 2/3 oz) She is feeding them well and taking good care of them, she is a wonderful mummy. She did eveything herself at the birth, she was super. Im so proud of her. Here is some pics, will get better ones later The first two! All 4

awwww. Congradulations. What beautiful little babies. Those little ones can be fighters, Chopper was only 1.5 oucnes too. Just be sure to watch that one when it comes to feeding time as the stronger ones will sometimes push the little guys out of the way (which I am sure you already know ) Please keep us updated with LOTS of pictures. ;D

Has the vet checked Roxy to make sure there are not retained puppies? It could be hormones.. She should settle down in a day or too. Hopefully the babies pull through please keep us posted

she is stressed because your hand feeding the pups they do get like that. make sure only one person feeds the pups and keep her away from other pets and people, cover the whelping pen with a blanket so that no one can see in and its dark. only touch the pups to feed and weigh them once a day. the rest of the time leave her alone. just look in every couple of hours when you feed them and encourage the weak pups to suckle off mum. either squeeze her teats until milk comes out and latch them on or put a strong pup on until the milk comes down and take it off and put the weak one on, all this before you hand feed and eventually you can stop feeding them. i hope that all makes sense
