I kinda feel dumb asking this question, but this is my 1st chi puppy and i don't really know alot about them. i was curious if chi's menstrated? the last couple of days i have noticed lil spots of blood on me after rosalie has been sitting or sleeping on my lap i was worried she got hurt but then i noticed where it was coming from. i would call the vet and ask them but where i live there isn't any vets open on the wkends. so if anyone could help me out that would be great!

Is 6 months not to early to be in Season? Mine normailly come into season about 8-9 months old but I guess every dog is different, if your still worried pop her along to your vet soon as they open just to put your mind at ease xx

I have read that females can start their first heat as early as 4 months, not common but it does happen.
