Hi all, As you may or may not know, I am a new Chi mom and I just wanted to ask all you seasoned Mom's about their sleeping patterns. Rocky is 11 weeks and he will eat about 1/6 cup of food, play for about 20 - 30 mins and then nap for about 2.5 to 3 hours, then he does it all over again. It is normal for him to sleep this much right. He sleeps at night for about 6 hours or so too. I know I am probbly just needing to get use to the whole new mom thing, I just wanted to check! Thanks Ladies!

Hi there , I would say that sound normal to me. As they get older they play for longer and sleep less unless you are called Smiffy and you play less and sleep more lol How are you finding owning a chi anyway?

Rocky sleeps in his crate with the top open next to my bed and only asks to get up 2xs during the night for potty and food. He even lets me clip his nails!! I agree I will get the bug and want to get more, LOL, but I know that won't be for a little while

It sounds normal to me! Also puppies can hold their bladder for however many months old they are! He is a little funny in that way too, he is 11 weeks and sometimes holds it for 3-5 hours.
