Hello Everyone! Could anyone give me advise on my 10 week old puppy Chico who loves to bite and nip while he's playing? I don't think he's trying to be aggressive, I think part of it is that he's teething and he's excited! I have got him some chewy toys and whenever he tries to bite I immediately give him a chewy toy. Any idea how long it takes to break this habit? I am a brand new Chi owner and any advise would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance! Annie a/k/a "Chico's Mama"

Annie, dont be too concerned about his biting, all puppies bite when they are playing and even sometimes when your patting them... tell Chico no in a firm voice and id continue to distract him with a toy... other than that, ride it out... its a normal puppy behaviour which goes as they grow up.... make the most of his puppyhood.... trust me it will fly by
