OK, so i am getting a puppy from jess from DLA... im going to get her next friday during the day so i will have all friday afternoon and night with her, then saturday and sunday i work 3 hour shifts from 11-2 at my second job. so i figure those are good times to get her used to being away from me. then i work full time mon-fri so i can come home at lunch and see her but do u think she will be okay with being left alone? ill hae her in my bedroom in a pen, and pixie and grace sleep in there so if she gets super upset im sure sweet lil pixie will come down and sit near the pen lol or would that upset her too much do u think? let me know its been a while sinec i did this and i know that grace didnt like to be left alone all day but she did sleep while i was gone, and then woudl try to escape from her pen lol bc she was bigger and would always try to climb out

I think if you are coming home at lunch and the other dogs will be able to interact with her slightly, she will be ok. good luck!

Congrats on your new baby...can't wait to see pics...how old is she ? Some of the other members will have some good advice about puppies being left.....When I left Izzy for more then 2 hrs I always gave her some glucose so her sugars would stay up....but she was older and hypoglycemia wasn't such an issue with her....I am really looking forward to hearing how the girls make out with their new sibling

I work full time and they all did fine. I would kennel the pup when gone in a room where my others were most often and they did fine!
Who are you getting from Jess?

im getting janet!! sweet janet!!!! and she will be 10 wks. im so excited . i will keep her in a pen, and i thinkpixie and grace will def help her out. i am getting her friday. cant wait. ill put tons of pics up. shes real special to me. i had picked out a diff chi from somewhere else but we figured out that she wouldnt be a good match bc she isnt very outgoing and i already have grace who is a lot of work bc of how timid she is, etc.e tc. so i was real bummed nad sad sinc ei already had the original pup in my head.. so jess said how Zoey was having pups soon and iw as liek oh wow its meant to be..all the while i had been staring at janet from jess's website but was like ehh i don want a longhair..then i fell in lvoe with her face so i was like ok zoey push them pups out bc if there are anycool lookin females id love one...so i was hesitant to commit to janet but i just ende dup falling in love with her and sure enough afte ri officially decided... zoey ende dup having her pups. however they were all boys!! so it was meant to be!! i am meant to get janet..now for the name..... i am thinking Stella. i love that name. and i think itll be pretty for her when shes older with her long fur. butttttt i was gonna name this other pup Penny so now im like hmm would Penny fit janet too..i really am leaning towards stella and i actually got a tag made up with that name already lol! if u go to the darlinglittleangels.com website u can see janet
