Hi all!!
Well my boy Rocky turned One on Valentines Day! and I am running low on puppy food so I was curious how old was your pup when you shifted from puppy food to adult food? I had read that for small breed dogs you want to do it between 9 and 12 months. Any information would help.
Thanks!

I think Jinxy was about 11 months old. Mix a little adult food (1/4) with his puppy food (3/4) and gradually increase the adult food. Bless Rocky is a big boy now! ;D Happy belated Birthday Rocky!

Happy Birthday Rocky! I would definitely switch him over. Generally you switch between 9-12 months. Like Kat said, I would wean him over the course of a week. Big boy!!

Well I have been mixing Rocky's puppy food with Blue Buffalo Adult for small breeds - Chicken and rice. He seems to love it, bites are bigger than his puppy food but still small enough for him to handle, he doesn't seem to be going to the bathroom as often either. I have heard lots of good things about BB. Thanks for the advice all!
