There seems to be a big push to have the chis on raw food lately.....I have been doing a bit of reading but really don't have any plans to change my two over....just wondering if any of the members are doing it...thinking about it or have any opinions on it ! My two are on No Grains Buffalo and doing well...even Bella is off her Rx food completely and has had no gastric problems with the NG's ( she is still on her Losec and Sulcrate of course )

where i go to dog training, my trainner has 27 paplions and she feeds them all on a raw diet and swears buy is as she knows everything that they are eatting. I think if mine werent happy on bruns and i werent happy then i would defo give it a try. Also where i work in a grooming salon my boss has 2 mountain dogs and a jack russel and they are fed raw to.

Nope, no raw diet here. I did just switch from Nutro Ultra Holistic lamb and rice to Halo Spot's Stew Wild Salmon Recipe, and they are doing great on that.
I do supplement with plain pumpkin everyday, grizzly salmon oil, and Missing Link every day as well.

I feed mine Primal...they are pre-made raw nuggets. Don't have to worry about balancing how much meat, bone and veg to give them. They love it.

I have my girls on a commercial raw diet (Nature's Variety) and have noticed an immense difference. It's not necessarily for everyone but if you'd like I'd be happy to give you more information I've also had them on Spring Meadows, Healthy Paws, Urban Carnivore...

We don't feed our dogs raw ... I talk to people all every day about dog food and raw is simply not for us ...

I did try the girls on some raw chicken...it went against everything I think about with raw meat...salmonella etc....but thought I needed to try it once...thankfully ( no offense to anyone who does use a raw diet ) the girls weren't interested at all...Izzy who wolfs down most anything put in front of her just looked at it and walked away and Bella...well....she didn't even approach it...she gave me a look that stated very clearly....you are kidding right !
